Mili Dakshin & Khushi Dakshin both win “Innate Power of Women – Young Champion of the Year” Award
Hearty congratulations to both Mili Dakshin & Khushi Dakshin on winning the ‘Young Champion of the year’ Award at the ‘Innate Power of Woman’ program recognising the work they are doing ie using the artistic talent to raise more than $30,000 to help various charities!
The inaugural Innate Power of Women Forum, a brain-child of lawyer and academic Pallavi Sinha, was held in Sydney on 2nd March 2020 with a number of NSW women recognised for their tireless work for “greater good”. Speaking at the Forum held at the Parkroyal Parramatta. Ms Sinha remarked that the objective of the Innate Power of Women Forum was “to provide a platform to educate, empower and enrich women to achieve their greatest potential”. The event was planned to coincide with NSW Women’s week and is an excellent opportunity to celebrate the economic, political, social & cultural achievements of women.
The event was attended by Hon. Bronwyn Taylor (NSW Minister for Women, Mental Health & Regional Youth), Melissa Monteiro (CEO – Community Migrant Resource Center), Malini Raj (Head of Strategy, Multicultural Community Banking at CBA), Tracey Spicer (Multiple Award winning Author, Journalist & Broadcaster), Tania Rhodes-Taylor (Vice Principal, External Relations, University of Sydney), Mayor of Hornsby Shire Hon. Philip Ruddock, Councillor Reena Jethi and others.
